Allen Sign Company’s aluminum plaque faces are stroke-sanded with baked enamel backgrounds before being clear-coated and oven-baked with a two part hardened acrylic polyurethane. Brushed aluminum is not recommended for all applications. We also offer a Flash Bronze aluminum treatment guaranteed for interior applications. This bronze treatment dyes the surface of the aluminum underneath a protective clear coat.
