The first thing to ask is whether the board needs to be magnetic or not. Magnetic boards will always be a little more expensive than non magnetic boards, so if you have no intention to use magnetic markers, gridding lines or other magnetic accessories then save a little on your budget by going for the non magnetic mobile whiteboard varient.
Fixed or rotating? Most manufacturers will offer a fixed or rotating frame on the mobile whiteboard range. A rotating board allows you to spin the board to present on both sides, and also to lock the board at your desired angle (perhaps useful if presenting in a raised auditorium for example). Fixed boards are mounted on the frame in an upright position and if you wish to to present on both sides, would require the entire unit to be spun around.
All good quality freestanding whiteboards on wheels will have locking castors. This allows the wheels to be locked off making for much easier writing on the board and general all round safety.
